How to Sell Online

Click here to setup your ecommerce store

Step 1) Sign-up for ShopFrontPro

Within 24 hours of signing up you'll receive a welcome email containing everything you need to start work on your store.
You'll also get access to comprehensive user guide and video tutorials that guide you through every step.

Step 2) Select and Customize Your Store Layout

Once you login to your admin area, you'll get access to 20+ professionally designed store layouts.
Simply choose the layout you want, upload your logo and away you go.

You also get the full source code for every template in the system, which means you can customize your store design as much as you want.
See store templates here.

Step 3) Setup Store Categories, Products and Static Pages

After you've decided on your store layout, you can setup your product categories and start inputting your product data (product names, prices, descriptions, images, etc). Again, you'll get to follow along with our video tutorials that outline every step of the process.

In addition to your product pages, you'll also want to setup various 'static pages' on your website.
Static content may include pages such as 'about us, faq's, delivery times, privacy policy, terms & conditions' and so on.

Step 4) Setup Shipping Rates & Payment Processing

The next step is to setup your shipping rates.
ShopFrontPro features a very flexible shipping structure that allows you charge for shipping by price, weight or item quantity.

You can also setup real time shipping estimates with Fed Ex, UPS, USPS, DHL, Intershipper and Australia Post.
More shipping info here.

Once you've setup your store with some products, you'll be able to apply for a payment processing account.
Plugging your merchant ID into the store's admin area only takes a few minutes.

Step 5) Test and Launch Your Store

ShopFrontPro allows you to 'hide' your store from the outside world until everything is ready to go.
This means you'll be able to view your store as it's being developed, but the outside world will see a 'store is under construction' page.

A few days before you're ready to launch your site, it's a good idea to put through the store through its paces by making a few test orders.

The best way to do this is to sign-up to your store as a regular customer and go through the shopping experience (i.e. add a product to your cart, checkout, process your payment, etc).

After you've tested your store - you can make your store 'live' with a couple of clicks of the mouse button from inside the admin area.
